About

My passion is making information compelling, digestible, and motivating. There is nothing that pains me more than to see a well intentioned presenter/report writer striking out time and time again because of the way their information is organized and presented. I love changing the way that sad story plays out and watching organizations and people succeed because of what I do.

If you need more than just "someone good at PowerPoint," you've come to the right place.

"Bad PowerPoint presentations cost $252 million per day in wasted time."

- The Wall Street Journal, Nov. 2006

I have six years experience helping sales representatives, c-suite executives, report writers, trainers/instructors, and seminar speakers get their messages across. Each of these types of clients have very different needs in terms of their goals, audience, deliverables, and mode of presentation. I work with my clients to understand the specifics for each project and design presentations and reports that deliver accordingly. A small amount of my time can make a huge difference. Let me help make you successful!

Some sales savvy and a little business sense

Other than an eye for design, two important and perhaps overlooked skills you want in your design partner are some sales savvy and a little business sense. My background is in business/marketing... my design expertise was cultured in such an environment – designing came about for me not as an end but as a means. I started as a salesman/marketer and my design expertise grew from filling the gaps I found in the tools that are out there for communicating information. I'm not a professional with the narrow designer view... I understand the context of presentations and will work with you to make sure your end product works best for your needs.

Presentations should prepare your audience for interest in further conversation and ultimately, to buy into you. If the presentation is exciting, they'll associate it with your company/product being exciting, and that's exactly what we want!

You want someone who's actually been out there DOING presentations themselves. I have lots of experience messing up my own presentations (and blowing some out of the park as well!) and can spare you any learning the hard way.
